To commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the MIR program, the Centre organized our first continuing education event for alumni in October 2002, with the theme “Emerging Issues in HR/IR”. Encouraged by an excellent turnout and enthusiasm in 2002, we resolved to begin an annual tradition, the Alumni Showcase, to profile the important and interesting work in which our alum are involved, and to provide a venue for them to learn and to network with each other. Current MIRHR students also attend the workshops, and learn the wide-range of issues and challenges encountered by MIR graduates.
