All CIRHR students MUST have a UTORid.
You will need your UTORid to access the following:
- UTORMail. UTORmail is the University's email service, which is used by the CIRHR and ROSI to distribute important information.
- BLACKBOARD (Portal) course websites. Your UTORid and password are required to login to Blackboard for course materials, announcements, etc.
- Off-campus access to UTLibraries electronic resources: Your UTORid and password are required to access online resources when you are off-campus (my.access). Most course readings are available as UTLibraries e-resources.
- Wireless. Your UTORid and password are required to login to UofT Wireless Network (UTORcwn).
- Free Anti-virus Software. Symantec Anti-Virus (SAV) software is free to all enrolled students. You will need your UTORid to download the software.
- Other UofT services requiring a UTORid include UTORweb (free webspace)
How to Obtain a UTORid
When you get your TCard, you'll be issued a UTORid and a Secret Activation Key, which you'll need to activate your UTORid and create your UTORmail email address. Click here for procedures.
UTORid Expiry
Your UTORid will expire on October 1 if you graduate in June, and January 1 if you graduate in November.
