Undergraduate Overview – Woodsworth College

In order to better integrate graduate and undergraduate education, the Faculty of Arts and Science transferred responsibility for the academic administration of the Employment Relations and Certificate in Human Resources Management from Woodsworth College to the Centre for Industrial Relations and Human Resources in 2013.

The goal of the undergraduate program in Employment Relations is to offer students an interdisciplinary learning opportunity to explore the employment relationship in a Canadian and global context from the perspectives of economics, history, law, management, political science and sociology.

The certificate in Human Resource Management is designed for students who have completed undergraduate degrees in subjects other than human resource management or related programs such as Employment/Industrial Relations who now wish to study courses in this field to meet professional needs, prepare for advanced studies or simply to broaden their academic experience. The level of instruction is undergraduate.
