Dear CIRHR Community,
Starting November 12th, 2025, the Centre's south-side exterior patio entrance will be locked and used exclusively as an emergency exit. The north-side driveway entrance will be open for entry and exit during regular building hours from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday during the remainder of the construction period (fob access required after hours). Advance notice will be provided for all disruptive work.
The CIRHR building (including the IRHR Library) will be closed on Wednesday, October 15th due to helical pile installation for our new ramp. You can reach the library at cirhr.library@utoronto.ca, or you're welcome to book an online research consultation.

As a reminder, we will also be closed this Friday, September 19th to Monday, September 22nd to allow newly laid asphalt to cure. The CIRHR building will remain closed through August and reopen on Tuesday, September 2nd, 2025 due to ongoing construction. The work will primarily impact the first level, so the library and first-floor offices will be closed. Fob access to the building will still be available.
Starting Wednesday, August 6th, the Centre's north-side entrance will be blocked by construction and, until further notice, the south-side exterior patio door (fob access required after hours) will be used exclusively for entry and exit. The north-side door will be locked from August 6th onward, and the south-side door will be programmed with our current summer hours: 9am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. Thank you for your understanding.
