Biography
Ian Mizuki (Imran) is a researcher and educator in Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management. He is currently completing his PhD in HRM/OB at York University. Prior to entering academia, he held roles in people and culture, employee engagement, and sustainability across several organizations, receiving formal leadership training at Amazon. He has been pedagogically trained at the University of Toronto, where he has been part of teaching teams across Rotman, ICCIT, IMI, CIRHR and the Departments of Management at both the Mississauga and Scarborough campuses. He also teaches at York University and in postgraduate HR programs at George Brown College. His research examines how AI is transforming organizational structures and workforce dynamics, exploring how intelligent systems influence the way work is experienced, governed, and understood.
