Cuban Labour Relations: A Dynamic Context
/Relaciones laborales de Cuba en un contexto dinámico
Join us for a unique opportunity to hear from Cuban labour relations experts on the state of Cuba’s labour market reforms and the growing scope of private sector employment in what has — since the 1960s – been a state-owned and planned economy. Learn about Cuba’s dispute resolution systems, the push to formalize employment, labour standards enforcement and the growing importance of the worker-owned cooperative sector. The one-day workshop is free for all CIRHR faculty, students and alumni. The event is co-sponsored by the Centre for Industrial Relations & Human Resources, University of Toronto, the Comparative Research in Law and Political Economy Network, Osgoode Hall Law School, the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers / Association Canadienne des avocats du mouvement syndical.
