When to apply: If you expect to complete the prerequisite courses by the end of the Winter session, you should apply to limited programs during the first request period.
Important: There is NO second request period.
The current Faculty of Arts and Science Calendar lists the IRHR program entry requirements for the subsequent Spring admission cycle.
For example, the requirements listed in the 2024-25 Calendar will be used to assess program admission in the Spring 2025 cycle. There is only one admission cycle.

UTM/UTSC Transfers:
- Students must first apply for admission consideration to the Faculty of Arts and Science and identify IRHR on the St George Campus as their preferred program of study.
- Students admitted to the Faculty of Arts and Science must submit their transfer credit information in a timely manner to the Faculty of Arts and Science. Procedural information will be included with your offer of admission.
- Once your transfer credits are assessed, your application to the IRHR program will be assessed. You must meet the Program Enrolment requirements listed in the current Faculty of Arts and Science Calendar (please note that this is a limited-enrolment program and meeting the minimum requirements to apply does not guarantee admission):

Transfer Credits
The IRHR Program Office does not administer the admission of new students to the Faculty of Arts and Science. Students must first apply to the Social Sciences admission category on the St. George campus which requires:
- Six Grade 12 U or M courses, including English, are required
- A senior level Math course is recommended preparation for first-year courses
- Students outside of Ontario should have the equivalent senior high school credits
After completing year 1 in the Faculty of Arts and Science, students follow the enrolment guidelines for admission to the IRHR major/specialist programs as published above under Current Students.
