Marcia Cardamore

As Executive Director of Organizational Development of DataMirror Corporation, Marcia Cardamore plays a central role in this high-tech Canadian company, with responsibility for the management of human resources, office management and organizational effectiveness worldwide.  DataMirror Corporation is a publicly-traded company and a lead provider in business data integration for e-business.  From 1985 until she joined DataMirror for its start-up in 1995, Marcia founded and Managed PeopleSense Inc., an organizational development consulting practice.

Since her graduation from the MIR program in 1985, Marcia has demonstrated an on-going commitment to learning and education in the field of human resources.  In addition to her MIR degree, she holds the H.R.P.A.O. Certificate in Human Resource Management, as well as certification in the use of psychological and organizational diagnostics, and in facilitation.  From 1986 to the present, she has taught Organizational Behaviour to students at Woodsworth College, and has been a frequent speaker at the Centre at Career Days and at the student symposium on The Future of Human Resources and Industrial Relations in 1997.  In 1998 and 1999, she was the Chair of the Human Resources Forum of the Information Technology Association of Canada.
